Knowing God is a defined moment where as finding freedom is a process.  Are you stuck and wanting to move deeper in your commitment to Christ?

Standing Firm

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery," Galatians 5:1, NIV. Maintaining freedom takes intentional effort on our part. Spiritual growth is greatly accelerated as you develop supportive Christian friendships and establish real accountability.

Baptism. Water baptism is a public declaration of our commitment to follow Christ, an outward expression of an inward change. By following Christ's example, baptism is a first step in acknowledging what God has done for us as well as our need for others in our lives. (Acts 2:41, 8:12-13) Email Pastor Randy for more information about being baptized.

Get plugged in. Jesus established the church as a means for His followers to stand firm in their faith and share His love with others. Join a church and get plugged in. Churches provide many avenues with which to maintain freedom. Celebrate Recovery is an example of a program that helps people with hurts, habits and hang ups. Learn more.

Community Life Groups. CLGs are South Shore's primary source in providing a place to connect, protect and grow in your relationship with God. This is a place where the gap can be closed between good intentions and actions.  The relationships developed in life groups are a vital step in maintaining freedom. Learn more.

"I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
I will free you from being slaves to them, and
I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.
I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God.
Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out
from under the yoke of the Egyptians."

Exodus 6:6-7, NIV
