Accountability
STANDING FIRM SIDE TO SIDE
The Woman's Ministry encourages every woman to be in an accountable relationship. Spiritual Accountability is when two or more Christian's are in relationship to support, encourage, and redirect one another in the growth of our Christian life, closing the gap between good intentions and actions.
"Standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side with one mind for the Faith of the gospel." Philippians 4:1
Accountability is important to me because…
…when making tough decisions, I cannot imagine experiencing my life without accountability! I have two women in my life who hold me accountable in my Christian walk. They never judge me, even when I share the darkest parts of who I am. They infuse me with courage and spur me on to make right decisions. They pray for me. And I strive to do the same for them! I can't imagine living any other way.
-Stacy Erb
…it has been one of the main tools that have helped me as I grow into the person God wants me to be and is vital to my success in the ministries I am involved in.
-Christy Smith
I need accountability because...
…God uses others to open our eyes to areas inside that need to grow.

Faithful - Once a woman makes a commitment to make Jesus Leader of her life and is committed to His ways: she is a child of God and a part of His family. However, to grow as a Christian and to stand firm requires effort on our part. Do you have a commitment and desire to grow in your Christian walk?
Available – “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” Hebrews 3:13, NIV. Are you available to participate in a small group our get together minimally on a weekly basis through phone/email and getting together once a month for uninterrupted sharing and prayer time with another woman?
Teachable –Someone with a teachable spirit recognizes their need to grow and the need for others in their life to encourage this growth. The partner/group needs to be people you are willing to trust and have a mutual sharing of honesty. Do you have a teachable spirit?
