Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with giant inflatables, exciting activities for the kids, delicious food trucks, a petting zoo, and even an ice skating rink! Seek first - City Commit Event
Join CityCommit as we welcome featured speaker Brant Hansen for
Seek First 2025 on January 11 at The Tabernacle Church in Sarasota.
We will spend the morning together with teaching, reflection, and beginning 2025 with the right mindset and spiritual posture.
You can choose to attend the event only OR join us for an additional VIP luncheon featuring Q&A with Brant Hansen that will begin immediately after the event ends.
Men's Chili Cook-Off!
Join us on Sunday, January 12th from 4-6pm for a night of great food, community and watching some playoff football at the Men's Chili Cook-off!

Pursuit Camp (youth retreat)
Jan 17-19
Cost: $170 per student (non-refundable)
Location: Hudson, FL (Word of Life Camp)
Our Winter Retreat is designed specifically for students who are in 6th-12th grade. Students who attend will be challenged in their walk with Christ and will go deeper as they worship Him.
The format of this retreat will be different than our summer camp format. This retreat is hosted by Word of Life and advertised to all churches. Therefore, our group will be mixed in with other church groups for worship, meals, and free time activities. However, we will not be mixed in with other groups in the dorms.

South Shore Students Summer Camp
July 27-31, 2025
Cost: $275 per student*
Location: Parrish, FL (DaySpring Conference Center)

Our Summer Camp is designed specifically for students who have just finished 6th-12th grade. Students who attend will be challenged in their walk with Christ and will go deeper as they worship Him.
This is an overnight camp. Our camp is not associated with DaySpring even though we are renting their facility.

Join us for a fun-filled morning of Bunco and a Christmas brunch! Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, come along and enjoy the excitement. Invite your friends and neighbors for a great time together. Let’s relax, laugh, and enjoy a festive morning playing Bunco—no experience needed. We will also have a featured guest and long time partner, the Sarasota Pregnancy Center with us!
Bring your favorite Christmas cookies or holiday treats to share! We’ll have breakfast, coffee, and juice ready for you.

The holidays are upon us which means it's getting close to time to decorate the entire church campus and show off how excited we are to help people find and follow Jesus this Christmas season!
This year we are decorating on November 10th, after the 3rd service.

Volunteer to help at Alta Vista Eagle Fest! This is the celebration of the end of Eagle Academy summer school for the kids and families of Alta Vista Elementary School. Parent University at Alta Vista
Alta Vista is looking for some help with Parent University this summer and would love to have us join!
This is a one hour class, once a week, for parents of students to learn particular skills such as life skills, work skills, or a wide variety of other options to help the parents grow into more well rounded people. These classes not only greatly affect the parents, but the entire family as a whole.
This is another opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and will certainly make a big difference!
