Children’s Ministry
We have programming for ages birth through 5th grade, and would love for you to come check us out! We meet during each of our worship services.
South Shore Community Church provides a safe, loving, and fun environment that focuses on God’s truth and The Gospel message. Thank you for allowing us to come alongside you in helping your children's relationship with Christ take shape. It is a privilege to have this time with your child!

THROUGH OUR MINISTRY
AT CHURCH:
At South Shore Kids, children will be creatively engaged while they learn solid Biblical truths and scripture through large group times of live teaching linked with time in small groups. Throughout the year your child will be exposed to the Bible, times of worship, prayer, and community.
AT HOME:
Our mindset of nurturing faith at home (first) is core to who we are and is reflected throughout all of South Shore’s Ministries, but especially with our children and families.
We want to partner with parents and caregivers on every level and at all stages of your child’s development and faith journey. Our time with your child “at church” is minimal compared to yours at home. Scripture is very clear about the importance and value of parents being the primary leaders of their children, as written in Deuteronomy 6:6-9.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on you foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
Scripture is also clear about the role of the church and our partnership provides significant support and resources to best equip and encourage you as you disciple your children. If you are interested in serving with South Shore Kids please email sfleming@southshorechurch.com!
IN THE WORLD:
As our kids grow in their relationship with Christ, we hope to prepare them to stand firm in their faith and know deep in their hearts and minds the truth of The Gospel. We want to encourage all children to live out their faith and be disciples and missionaries for Christ wherever they are. Look for opportunities to serve as a family through our Be Love Reach mission throughout the year. Kids are 1/3 of our population and 100% of our future, we treat them, teach them, and pray for them with this always in mind!
