What to expect
when visiting
Location:
The SSCC Kids Check-in Area is located in the lobby of the Kids Building on the south-east side of our campus off of Hillview St, beside the main building.
Check-in
Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the check-in area by our South Shore Kids Volunteers. They will ask you to fill out a basic information sheet on you and your child. This will provide a safe and worry-free time of fun and age-appropriate learning for your children while you enjoy our service in the worship center.
Check-in begins 15 minutes before the start of the service and remains open until 10 minutes after the start of the service.
Once your child has been checked in, you and your child will be shown to their classroom to meet the volunteers for their class.
Our classrooms are broken into the following ages:
Nursery – ages 6 Weeks thru 12 Months
Toddler – 12 Months thru 2 Years
Preschool – 3 Years (and potty trained) thru 4 Years old
5s and K - 5 Years old thru Kindergarten
Elementary – 1st Grade thru 5th Grade
Safety
Safety is a top priority. The Family Building is locked at the end of check-in time. Please seek a member of our safety team for any special request to enter the building after this time. The building will be unlocked at the conclusion of the adult service.
